Nelson and the Seagull is a lovely coffee spot in the middle of Gastown. And as we enjoyed their food and coffee so much we popped in almost every morning, while staying in Vancover, BC. Why? Because they serve the most wonderful breakfast. I also love that they do their own daily bakes in an open kitchen. As you can imagine it smells heavenly, when the fresh bread comes right out of the oven and onto your plate. You can either choose to top it with a poached egg plus avocado or enjoy it as french toast. We tried both options – it’s delicious!

This place makes you feel home away from home. Its absolute authentic and offers a thousand inspirations for your own interior. Vintage is the key! Old wooden stools, tables as well as paintings and a cool mosaic floor make this place so very unique. So if in Vancouver, make sure you pay this charming coffee shop a visit!
