It’s a small café with a few tables to enjoy a broad selection of healthy food and beverages. They offer daily homemade bread, sandwiches and yummy cakes, as well as healthy salads and green juices. Don’t get me wrong, I just love Nasi Goreng and all kinds of curry dishes. But after weeks of Asian food, I really enjoyed the chance to taste something more western. It has been the first wholegrain bread for a long time.

The café just opened a couple of years ago and is owned by three girls from Germany and Switzerland. All of them fell in love with the island of Lombok and share their passion for surfing. After opening the Drop In Café, they soon completed their mission of establishing three wonderful bungalows, which can accommodate two persons and cost around 40 Euro, including breakfast. Even if you are not staying at the Drop-In Bungalows, make sure to try the breakfast anyway. The menu offers some great options besides common banana pancakes and omelet.
Their vintage café is a colorful place and surrounded by a lush green garden – you will feel at home right away. It’s a great place to hang out. I loved staying here for hours, just reading or relaxing. When in Kuta make sure to check this place out.
